Interviewer: Was Tom Hiddleston a big part of that series and what makes him one of our very brightest, young talents?

David Morrissey: You know, it’s hard that, I think you know that – the thing about Tom is that he’s just… his intelligence just shines through, I think. I think he’s a wonderful actor emotionally, but I think in Hollow Crown, we see his, his intelligence as a man. He’s a very sensitive man. Uh, he ain’t hard to look at either, you know, he’s easy on the eyes. He’s got all those attributes but knowing him as a person, you know… he’s a friend of mine. He’s such a great guy, you know, and he’s a really generous person, so I wish him so much success. He’s gonna have it anyway, but it couldn’t, it really honestly couldn’t happen to a nicer man. He is so great. So, I think the Hollow Crown showed him in all his glory as well.

I’m Smaug in the Hobbit, I’m in Star Trek: Into the Darkness, and I play Sherlock, I think I’d get torn limb from limb if I went to Comic Con.
